is perfect for short or long term stays, for couples or families.
Aurelia's Farm B&B is all about fresh local produce, home cooking and cosy accommodation, all year round. Just two minutes drive from the centre of Uralla, but with a wonderful rural outlook and plenty of space to roam we are ideally situated to cater for short or longer term breaks.
Almost all of our fruit, vegetables and meat comes from local farms and backyard gardens.
Our Cottage is a separate, fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage, offering a private place to stay with lovely views of Salisbury Hill. One bedroom has a queen size bed and the other has two king single beds and a single bed. Both rooms have built in wardrobes and the queen size room has a digital TV. The lounge area has a comfy 3 seater couch and some armchairs to watch TV in, or to just admire the view. The lounge has double doors on to the verandah with a BBQ and some outdoor seating.
The bathroom has a lovely, deep spa bath, double basins and a spacious shower, while also accommodating a front loader washing machine should you need to get a few things washed while you are here. The front door opens on to a wide, covered carport (great for getting in and out of the car in bad weather) that also holds a good sized clothesline. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooktop, oven, microwave and dishwasher and has a store of supplies to get you underway with any cooking you might feel like doing, while the dining table provides a great location for up to 6 people to sit and enjoy a meal.
We provide a generous breakfast basket on the first day of your stay including our home made banana bread and toasted muesli, fresh local eggs, home made jams, fresh bread from our local bakery, bacon, cereal, milk, yoghurt, a range of teas and freshly ground locally roasted coffee.
We are passionate about supporting local businesses and have established a way for you to shop for some great local products before you arrive, and to top up while you are here too. Our other local venture, Seasons of New England, operates an online store and bottleshop, featuring only handmade New England products. Providing orders are placed 48hrs before the day of your arrival, we will be able to have your order ready for you in the Cottage when you arrive. And to make it a true New England experience, we are also able to organsie fresh local trout, lamb, brewery sausages, goats cheese, jams, chutneys, honey and more - it's all part of the experience and just needs to be ordered 48hrs in advance. We will send you all the information you need as part of confirming your booking.
Max is our friendly farm cat. He is a gentle, elderly, short hair cat we rescued from the pound and he can at times invite himself in to your accommodation. He does not mind at all if you direct him back out and we do clean thoroughly between each guest, taking particular care to remove any cat hair.

COVID Safe Statement
While we are very happy to continue to have guests in our Cottage, we have had to make some significant changes to the way we operate to ensure everyone's safety. Our costs are now much higher than they were before due to the much more extensive cleaning that we feel is necessary between guests. We now have a 3 night minimum stay and will also leave a gap of 3 nights between bookings to ensure the Cottage is safe for the next guest following this cleaning.
As part of our COVID Safe plan we will also take a digital record of the name and email address OR mobile number of each guest. We will store this information securely for 28 days and should it be required by NSW Health for contact tracing it will be made available to them. If you are unwell with respiratory symptoms or fever you must not travel. Instead you must immediately get tested and place yourself in isolation until you have received your results. Only booked and confirmed guests who have registered their details with us at the time of checking in are permitted in the Cottage during your stay.
When discussing a booking request we will ask guests to make a written statement (just an email is fine) to confirm that they have not come from, do not reside in and/or will not have travelled through a known hot spot prior to their visit. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept any reservations for guests who have come from or through those areas. This is a changing space and we will need to confirm at the time of booking what the current hot spots are. Should the area our guests are coming from or through become a hot spot just prior to their stay, this would unfortunately mean we can not proceed with the stay. We will check in with you 24hours prior to your visit to confirm that you are still able to go ahead with your stay.
We will not be taking deposits at this time, but will take each booking according to these guidelines. Payment will be required upon arrival, and we do have contactless payment facilities.
We have registered as a COVID Safe business.
To make a booking, or to discuss your accommodation needs, please send us an email at aureliasfarmbnb@gmail.com or call Tara on 0434 408 163.
